Glider Field Hegmatten , Winterthur
The competition site of the World Championship categories F5B (Glider) and
F5D (Pylon Racing) and the Electric Flight Festival categories F5A (Aerobatic)
and F5C (Helicopter), is located in the north east of the City of Winterthur,
on the glider airfield Hegmatten.
It is about 5 km from the center of Winterthur and about 30 km from Zurich
international airport.
There is a public transportation by bus or by train to the glider field Hegmatten.
